This course teaches solicitors how to identify vulnerable clients and ensure they are treated fairly.
Description
A vulnerable client is anyone who is particularly susceptible to harm for various reasons, including physical and mental disabilities, language barriers, and exposure to conditions like abuse or poverty.
Vulnerable clients may be less able to represent their own interest, or they may have behavioural biases which negatively impact their decision-making. However, they are entitled to receive outcomes as good as any other clients and deserve to be treated fairly.
